Telemedicine is an innovative service available since 2018 at The Center for Neurology and Neurophysiology. You can use telemedicine services to personally meet with your provider to discuss the progress under your current treatment plan or ask any questions you have about your current treatment.

Access to your physician is available via a variety of technologies with internet service, including your:

• Smartphone
• Tablet
• Computer

This service allows you to discuss your issues directly with your provider through video and voice interaction, regardless of where you are.

What can I expect from a telemedicine consultation?

Before you and your provider can meet via online technology, you need to schedule an in-person consultation. During this appointment, your provider at The Center for Neurology and Neurophysiology reviews of your medical history.

Your appointment may involve your provider issuing orders for imaging, labs, or neurological testing to confirm a diagnosis and help your provider create a treatment plan.

Following your telemedicine appointment, your provider may ask for an in-office visit the same day or for your next visit. Staff will provide you with guidance to setup future follow up appointments via a video and voice service. Some diagnosis and conditions may not allow for a telemedicine follow-up, ask your provider at your next appointment if telemedicine is an option.
